Abstract

This article analyzes the quality of service provided by suppliers to supermarkets in a medium sized city in the northeast of Brazil. A survey was performed with valid responses from forty mid-sized supermarkets. The results provided the data for ranking the importance of the main distribution service features and for assessing the retailer's satisfaction level in relation to the ten major suppliers in the region.
