The Tourist Planning between the Brazilian Towns of Small and Medium Size

Abstract

Planning is an essential and necessary activity involving sustainability in Tourism especially concerning the development of tourist destinations. It consists in establishing strategies which allows to minimize or prevent negative impacts on tourism by the diagnosis of data, followed by determination of targets and objectives. However, it is possible to verify that planning has not been an usual practice among the majority of the small and medium size municipalities in Brazil. The aim of this article is to analyse the brasililian local planning reality and propose actions that, in its turn, in order to reverse this state.
