Paying back Management: reflexion on the readings of Tragtenberg, Motta and Guerreiro Ramos

Abstract
This essay is a payback to my graduation in Management. Through the reading of Tragtenberg (1980), Motta (1986) e Guerreiro Ramos (1989), I want to show that these author’s ideas (the organization theory is ideological and naive) contribute to the understanding of the position (ideology) and purposes (instruments) of management theories taught in graduation courses. After social sciences began theorizing organizationally not considering social totality, it cut itself loose from reason, which constituted its initial motivation, and oriented by an economic and instrumental determination. These brazilian authors reveal that only by recovering the original sense of ‘reason’ and unmasking ideologies (the way Motta refers to Tragtenberg) it will be possible to build up a theoretical body adjusted to reality, and payback ideological theories and naive sciences.
