Relevance of reviewer

Reviewers play an extremely relevant role in the process of scientific certification of the articles submitted to the CGPC.

A review conducted targeting on a relevant, pertinent and responsible contribution is the main strength for the development of any scientific paper, resulting in an essential impact on the evolution of the quality of a research.

Review Content

Responsible and contributive reviews value the strengths of the paper and clearly point out the possibilities of improvement and development for an impacting publication.

Effective observations are affirmative and often enough they include transcriptions of parts of the paper with comments and notes and paragraphs with their respective needs and ways of improvement.

Informing useful bibliographies is very valuable while theoretically and empirically improving papers. Thus, recommendations of specific references with complete information are very welcomed.

Articles rejected

Once prepared with responsibility and attention, a review may advise that an article should be rejected. Extending the review process of articles without possibilities of being published wears out authors, reviewers and editors.

However, the editorial policy strongly advises reviewers to heed the need of keeping a courteous tone, including in case of rejection. Authors should always be encouraged to develop themselves as researchers and authors.

Reviewers should be fully aware of and have their conduct aligned with the Ethics & Conduct.
