The workforce in health in Brazil 70s: Mishaps and trends

Abstract
This study intends to provide a description of the main trends prevailing in the Brazilian labor market, in the area of health. Starting from a survey covering the context in which economic and social policies of the 70's were developed, the work stresses some aspects connected with the socio-economic, demographic and institutional features of the labor force that operated in the health area in Brazil from 1970 to 1980.
