Abstract
Administrative theory has suffered in recent years a 105s of coherence, says the author. The field has been so receptive and permissive to influences coming from the many different areas of knowledge that it finds itself in an extreme stage of identity confusion. It is therefore necessary to appraise the situation and take measures to instill administrative theory with force and direction again.
