Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper discusses possible categories for public management innovations in Brazil, focusing on health management. In order to contribute for the consolidation of a theoretical-empirical approach to this managerial area, it submits to a critical analysis several innovation concepts traditionally adopted by organizational research. Based on a case study, the paper analyzes, discusses and identifies categories and subcategories for innovation research on public health management, from a micro-localized perspective and considering the social actors/managers' daily practice.
