Abstract
This paper describes the challenge that makes the researchers of the Study Group on Information System and Decision Making Support Systems (Gesid) seek new information systems models. This quest implies to determine the principles guiding the construction of the models and to understand the beliefs underneath principles. This is an important epistemological discussion that should be part of any investigation.
