From information to the organizations information policy: a conceptual picture

Abstract
In modem society, information is a good of extreme importance because it is one of the factors responsible for organizations survival and, when well-managed, a strong factor for competitive advantages. In this papers, some of the information basic concepts and their potential competitive advantages, as well as organizations policies are discussed.
