Abstract
Market and social solidarity - reflections from the crisis of the Welfare State. This article's main objective is to propose a discussion on the market and its links with social solidarity, from the starting-point of the crisis of the Welfare State. It is a1so examined the growing development of unconventional forms of participation, which are back in their public spaces, autonomous, acting with individual gestion and showing new resources for social solidarity. In this study, there is a preliminary quest, seeking to position in the life of our days the connections between market, State and civil society - around the axis of social protection - and to explain the complexity of the actual processes of changes as changes also happening in the conduct of social agents.
