Abstract
This article deals with the question of incorporating into the Constitution the economic and social realities of our time, which bear the mark of their neverending mutations.
Going through the experience of various countries in elaborating their Constitutions, at different periods of times, the author comes to the specific case of the Brazilian Constitutions and analyzes the treatment given to economic issues by Constituent Bodies to ascertain whether or not it has been satisfactory.
