Abstract
New management strategies arise to assure the necessary transfer of innovation-oriented technological knowledge. The direct consequence of the ability to innovate is the power to compete for the international market through exports. The incubators of technology-based companies came to fulfill the need for new organizational forms to impel technological innovation and
consequently to promote a closer contact between companies and universities, which are traditionally apart. This article analyzes the process of knowledge transfer in an incubated company while building a strategic network for innovation.
