The development of different theoretical approaches to organizational analysis
Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of organizational studies is characterized not by an increasing convergence of the accepted body of knowledge but by an increasing divergence. Several theoretical approaches and research perspectives that dispute the study of organizations are presented. On the one hand, Burrel and Morgan's paradigms framework is introduced to illustrate the diversity of scientific
analysis. On the other hand, the theory of knowledge-constitutive
interests developed by Jürgen Habermas is presented in order to identify and differentiate types of scientific knowledge.
