Abstract
Dentro do escopo que tem orientado sua produção intelectual e sua atividade como consultor, Croizier apresenta uma obra na qual faz críticas severas às elites francesas, ao mesmo tempo em que reafirma sua crença nas instituições. Para o autor, os franceses necessitam mudar radicalmente sua maneira de pensar, que está falida.
O livro, de 200 páginas, divide-se em duas grandes partes. Na primeira, Croizier apresenta sua versão do que chama de "mal das elites francesas"; na segunda, responde a perguntas feitas por Tilliette sobre a possibilidade de mudança.
