Uhegemony in organizational studies
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper intends to show to what extent has the Brazilian scientific production on organizational studies shown independence, thus contributing to the country's self-knowledge, to the recognition of its identity, and, from that, to its self-development. It also presents de reasons for the presence or absence of independence. The paper concludes that the scientific production reveals the hegemony of the United States as a reference for Brazilian authors, but that there is already a certain search for intellectual autonomy.
